IQAC is constituted in the year 2017 with an objective to impart quality education through continuous monitoring and periodic reforming of the strategies to achieve academic excellence.

A system with procedures and standards similar to ISO 9001:2008 has been meticulously framed, documented and implemented to monitor and evaluate the quality performance of all academic and administrative activities.

Adolescent is the phase when students turn emotionally sensitive, start distancing from parents and maintain intimacy with peer group and become vulnerable to all kinds of problems. Thus to guide, motivate and morally support them in all their endeavors, a counselling and mentor system is evolved.

This practice starts from the first year and lasts until the completion of final year. A mentor is assigned to each class whose roles and responsibilities are to

• Monitor the performance of each student in terms of their discipline, attendance, internal assessment, university results and communicate to the department head and dispatch the same reports to the parents and get endorsed.
• Arrange special classes and retests for slow learners and conduct class committee meetings to understand and resolve the problems that hinder the performance of students.
• Arrange guest lectures, industrial visits, organize certificate courses and other skill development programs.
• Maintain the students profile which has details of each student that will enable the staff to understand the strength, weakness and the level of monitoring required.

• Staff play the role of counsellor and continuously monitor the student’s activities and strive to resolve the issues that hinder the performance of each student
• The primary role of a counsellor is to gain the confidence of a student and maintain confidentiality of the issues they discuss.
• Students meet them during the allotted period or any leisure time and share their personal and academic grievances. Suitable solutions and guidance are provided subjected to the limitations of the counsellor. In case any expert advice is required, they are directed to meet them along with their parents
• Thus the counsellor plays the role of a friend, philosopher and guide to help students to excel well in all their endeavors

Technical symposiums are organized by students of each department every year including the first year. Students also participate in the seminars, paper presentation, work shop and various other events organized in other institutions too. This practice enhances their technical and soft skills.

An exhibition is organized every year for students to exhibit their technical skills and knowledge. This practice helps students learn from peer groups, develop leader ship skill, team work ability and communication skills and get opportunity to work with students of other disciplines too. School students are also provided an opportunity for exhibiting their talent and knowledge. Thus this practice provides an opportunity for students to apply their acquired knowledge, analyze and evaluate themselves.
